The space around us, has always been important to my work; the enviroments we learn in should inspire, evoke, prevoke and trigger new ideas.

Inspired by 'the line', I imagine and design interactive installations and interventions within family learning spaces, in Art Galleries across the UK and Europe.

I have pioneered sensory-led learning environments for children with Autism at Manchester Art Gallery, Tate Liverpool and CSW Laznia Centre for Contemporary Art, Gdansk, Poland, as well sharing my ideas with my peers and professionals at conferences at The Royal Academy of Art, London, The Whitworth, Manchester and Manchester Museum.

Sometimes the installations I create are mobile; Umbrella doodles© is a walking & drawing activity which connects it's particpants to the space around them, drawing from the surrounding area onto the transparent umbrellas, the group become a walking, artistic intervention.

Some of the spaces I create are designed with community groups, students and family groups, I have worked with the Tate Exchange programme as a facilitator on a number of highly successful and award-winning projects.
