'Mapping Memories', was my first collaboration with the Learning Team at Laznia Centre for Contemporary Art, Gdansk, Poland.

Funded by the British Council, this 2 week project connected the local community with the Art gallery through a collection of local images, selected emotive words and the memories and stories that were woven, stitched and connected together, creating sculptural responses.

These individual interpretations were then put together to create an immersive 'map installation' of the local area and it's people.

Light and shadow were used to create a theatrical mood; a stage-like presence for these local and personal artworks.

'Mapping Memories', was part of the first 'BritCult festival', headlined by Gilbert and George and London-based graffiti artist; Stik.
